Honors/Extra Curricular Activities/Sports from High School or College: President, Oshkosh Student Board.

Why you became involved in WSG: I initially became involved in WSG because of the innate skills and abilities that could be used to positively represent the students at the Oshkosh Fox Valley Technical College campus. As my understanding of WSG and its possibilities grew it became clear that with WSG I could help my fellow students through personal belief that one can accomplish great things, while many can accomplish incredible things.

What you wish to accomplish in this position over the next year: I plan to work with Eric and Dave to get all the technical colleges in Wisconsin participating in WSG as well as bring WSG to the attention of more students. I personally plan to facilitate technical college students to fully realize the impact voice and efforts can make on the technical college system along with their own experiences in college and beyond. I believe motivating students to carry the message of WSG farther than students’ senate hearings and out in to their classroom, hallways, and even the communities where they live would be a worthy goal as well. I know that this can be accomplished though personal demonstration and support to form a bond through a common goal promoting retention and additional members. If this can be done the Wisconsin Student Government’s numbers will continue to grow allowing a more unified and powerful voice for technical college students.

Goals for the Future (What you plan to do after College Graduation): After receiving my Bachelors in Systems Information Management, I wish to work overseas. While abroad I may continue my education if my employer allows while expanding my perspective and pursuing personal goals.

Statement from you to everyone who reads your profile: Alone we are but a voice in the crowd, together we are the crowd. Wisconsin Student Government can have a tremendous impact on the technical college experience that is received by you and those to come. Let us take an active participation in shaping the processes that define that experience.
