Wisconsin Student Government -
Logo Contest
WSG is looking for a new logo design for it’s organization. WSG currently represents over 500,000 students in the Wisconsin Technical College System. It’s organization advocates for students with statewide legislators. The design must be turned in by February 18th. Submissions will be ranked at the February 20th meeting. Once all documents and files are confirmed the winner will receive a Apple iPad 64 GB with WiFi and and 3G (WSG will not provide the 3G service). If your submission is considered and needs to have a few changes you will have 48 hours from the time the email is sent to you to get it corrected and resubmitted. If it is not we will then move to the next considered logo. The final logo will be announced at the April WSG meeting.
To have your logo considered please follow the following guidelines.
- Vector image from Adobe Illustrator
- Copy using a .jpeg or .png (preferably .png for website)
- All external files must be included and put in zip file
- You may do one of either of the following sizes or both
- 6 inches high by 10 inches high (wide for clothing T-shirts, jackets, etc)
- 353 pixels wide by 86 pixels high (for letterhead, documents, etc)
- Must include Copyright Release form
- You may use up to 3 colors but they must be the following
- Blue (Hex #003973)
- Yellow (Hex #ffa500)
- White (Hex #FFFFF)
- You must also include a Black and White Version of your submission (for letterhead and copying)
- Must use “WSG” and or “Wisconsin Student Government”
- You may create a new tagline as part of the document
- Must be a current Wisconsin Technical College Student.
- Must include Copyright Release Form
- All submissions must be turned in by midnight on February 18th 2011 to webmaster@westernstudents.org please include your phone number so we may contact you as well.
